Madison and 45th |

'If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere', as the saying
goes. It worked for Guy Lombardo, now it's our turn.
The beautifully restored Roosevelt Hotel, at Madison and East 45th
St., New York City, will host the First Central Plaza Jazz Jubilee,
August 18-20, 2006.
Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians played at the Roosevelt for
almost 30 years from 1929, and although the Roosevelt Grill no longer
exists, the two ballrooms, bar, lobby, restaurant., and rooms retain
their Jazz Age character. There'll be live music in the two ballrooms
throughout the weekend
